A pre-wedding shoot, or engagement shoot is always such fun - seeing the happiness, togetherness and hope for the future, in a couple soon to be married, is always special! 

The engagement is such a special and significant event, and deserves its own collection of photos to mark the event, as the 1st step on the road to the wedding day.  

However, the shoot serves more than one purpose. Firstly, it allows the photographer and the couple to get better acquainted, get to know each other, and become comfortable being together.  A good photographer will also teach a few basic poses, share a few jokes, and before you know it, the couple will be looking like professional models, unaware of the camera clicking away. No one wants forced smiles and awkward poses for their wedding images and the pre-wedding shoot helps to get the couple relaxed and comfortable, and being themselves in front of the camera.  

 Our pre-wedding shoot with Rhuan and Carine was no different.  Like most grooms-to-be, Rhuan wasn't thrilled to be in front of the camera, but by the end of the shoot, the couple were happily interacting with each other, without any thought of the camera, resulting in beautiful and natural images.
